About God's Grace foundation
A Feeding, Clothing, and First Aid Ministry in Rocky Point, Mexico.

Our Story
In April 2015, I was walking home from the gym. I was walking thru the train tracks as I did every night on my way home, and I heard a woman crying she was in so much pain that I thought she was giving birth, I walked over to where she was, and a man was also sitting on the ground next to her. So I asked the man what was wrong with her, and the man replied that she was hungry. He said that she had not eaten for a couple of days, and she had been drinking alcohol the last couple of days.

There was a lady at the place where I was staying at, she had a 15-year-old daughter who liked corn dogs; So, every time I went up to the States, I would bring her corn dogs.

So, I told the man that I would go home and bring back some food for them. So, I went home and threw some corn dogs in the microwave, got some juice, and walked back to where they were sitting. By the time I got back, there were two additional hungry folks that were waiting for me, so I went back home and got some corn dogs and juice for them..
So, every night as I walked home from the gym, I would see people around the tracks, and I would ask them if they would like something to eat. There were always people there: Homeless, people who come off the train (La Bestia) as they call it. People who come from down south. Honduras, Guatemala, and other places, people who get off the train in Puerto Peñasco and ask for help. As time went by, I started to buy cup of noodles, juice, and water to offer as well.
When I had the opportunity, I would come up to the States to do side jobs, and see my children, people would hear about the work that I was doing in Rocky Point, and they stared to donate hygiene products, clothing, pillows, and blankets to give to the homeless people who live on the train tracks.

Sometime after that, while I was in my room the lady on my building knocked on my door, she said that there was a man across the street that needed help, I went out and crossed the street and saw a man that had an open wound on his right ankle; So I asked the man what had happened to his ankle? He told me that he had gotten run over by some Americans. The police came to the scene and the Americans offered to take the man to the emergency room. However, the man did not want to go to emergency. The police told the Americans to give him some money and that they would take him to the ER. They did as instructed and left. Once they were gone, the police took the money from him and left him there. So, I offered to take him to ER paid for treatment and bought him some first aid items.
